Returning back to a blog that you haven't written in for nearly a year is similar to the feeling you get when you had a good friend that you haven't talked to in a year and suddenly are sitting in the same car on your way to church.
There is a familiarity to the whole situation, but at the same time, there is the unspoken question of, "what happened? We used to hang out all the time, and then nothing." And in reality, there wasn't anything that happened. Either I got tired of having to write, or I felt that I didn't have anything to say.
So why now? What is the catalyst for coming back to writing in a blog? Do I have something to say now? maybe. I think it's because I need the catharsis of writing online all these thoughts that are in my brain. So let's catch up on the last year.
1) I changed small groups
2) I have started swimming and yoga
3) I am now uncle to 6 nieces and nephews
4) Still going to the same church
5) Went skydiving
6) Went to Taiwan for a 2nd time
7) Still single
8) Going to Taiwan again
9) Fighting depression (or what I think is depression)
What is the most significant change? The most significant thing this past year is that...nothing has happened which is sad, I know. But things are going to change this year and even more next year!
