It's snowing! It's like a winter wonderland out there. Sometimes I'm really thankful for my job because it allows me to work from home when I need to. This morning, I was woken up by the tech who was picking up my CPM machine (a machine to work my shoulder after surery) He told me it took him 45 min to get to my place from Elk Grove Village...that's nuts (it's usually a 15 min drive) So I decided to work from home today.
Oh, a note about valentine's day. It sucks. I'm contemplating breaking up with her today and then getting back with her on the 15th. This way I don't have to deal with valentine's day shenanigans....I haven't dealt with them for nearly a decade and here I have to figure out something for kendra. Not that I don't want to, but a 'special' day that seems to be there for no purpose other than to spur men to buy stuff for women when really the women want the guy, not just some flowers...why is it confined to a particular day? What if we were going through a hard time or we got into a fight on valentine's day? Should I be forced to getting her flowers and chocolates? lame...
Don't get me started on Sweetest's day....ugh...hallmark, you've made a enemy out of me...
