I was sitting here at work, and I just realized that I haven't taken a shower in over 3 days. Yes, since tuesday morning, I haven't taken a shower. This is scary, given that I have been taping and priming my new house 2 nights in a row. You would think that I get dirty. And I probably am. And yes, I can go to sleep dirty, because I'm usually so exhausted by the day that even if I feel icky, I can sleep...it's a useful skill to have when you go camping....
I thought the days of not showering for long periods of time ended in college. Now, I am just planning to not take a shower tomorrow morning to see how long I can go (I'm leading worship tommorow night, so I"ll have to shower before then...but I"m painting throughout the day so there's no point for a shower). That'll make it 4 1/2 days of going without a shower. my hair is all greasy, I'm starting to break out, (I do wash my face...I'm not a total barbarian) and yes, I'm wearing the same underwear. I disgust myself. just one and a 1/2 days left till my shower. I also pity my co-workers, especially my cube mate. He hastn' said anything, but I've tried not to get to close to people...it's been working so far...
Mental note: Change my sheets this weekend.
