Never Enough

It's the mantra of the world. There is never enough. we all constantly want more. I was thinking about this on the way back from my company meeting, and how when those numbers are thrown up on the screen, you can't help but start fantasizing about what you could do with all that money. I thought about what I could fix up around the house, what kind of car would I buy, how I can finally buy a wardrobe that I'm not ashamed about, etc, etc. then I caught myself and realized that this is exactly how the world wants me to think. "Do not conform to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that by testing you may discern the will of God, what is good, acceptable and perfect." My mind needs to stop dwelling on of these things. The paradigm of God is so different from the world...it's not about acquisition at all. It's about heavenly accumulation.
