I'm in the midst of all of Daniel's visions and dreams, talking about the end times, and the prophecies that are to be fulfilled. Interesting stuff, but I have a hard time relating it to my life right now.
What is the value of prophecy, especially prophecy that doesn't personally pertain to me? The only thing that it does for me is to strike fear into me that this prophecy may happen to me.
hmm...maybe that is the purpose/value of prophecy, to let people know that judgement is coming. duh. So what is coming down the road for me? The overarching sign is that God is still sovereign and He is still in control during these terrible prophetic times. That's a comfort.
