It's cold here in chicago. So I have been wrapping up like an eskimo lately. I put away my wool coat and pulled out the big guns, my down coat. it's nearly 7 years old and terribly unfashionable, but comfort > fashion. at least for guys... that along, with a neck gaiter, Illini head cap, gloves and wearing long johns makes me look like an eskimo. I'd wear goggles if I could without looking like a freak.
I love the cold weather though, it makes me appreciate the warm house even more...I usually can't wait till I can get home, kick off my shoes and enjoy my radiant flooring...best decision that I made. I smile every time I step on my warm floor...maybe I'm getting old and my blood isn't circulating as well anymore, because I remember as a kid that I would go out in this kind of weather with just a leather jacket, scarf and I would be fine. now, I shudder to do that. sheesh.
